Taking Care of Business Talk Radio... America's Home for Small Business News And Advice

Broadcast through WCWP 88.1 FM Brookville, New York, and Airs Thursdays at 11:00 am

"Taking Care of Business" (tcbradio) started in 2005 as a weekly one hour webcast radio show and has grown into a major media presence broadcast from 88.1 FM in Brookville, New York reaching over a million listeners through FM broadcast, a "live feed" on WCWP.org, numerous podcasts including iTunes, and most recently through simulcast on FIOS TV. We have a worldwide audience and receive emails from destinations as far away as Ireland.

"Taking Care of Business," maintained its one hour format throughout the years and provides behind the scenes access to newsmakers, business leaders, musicians, entertainers, health experts, legal experts, real estate and construction professionals and interesting people and places with an emphasis on fun and informative information.

TCBRADIO takes you on the road as we travel America. We have taken our radio equipment and literally walked through Memphis (where we visited Elvis Presley's home Graceland, Sun Studios and Stax Records), the Grand Canyon (where we took the Grand Canyon Railway and were part of a train "robbery"), rode Jeeps in the Arizona Desert, and talked with professionals at the New York Times Travel Show.

We generally report live from Book Expo America each year the show is held in New York City. Rick Frishman and Richard Solomon did an early broadcast about the Rattlesnake Roundup in Sweetwater, Texas and the "Road-Kill cook off" before television cooking shows took on the concept. If it is fun, offbeat, or unusual, we probably will do a show on it one day. We even did a Beer Tasting Tour with Little Neck Beverages right down Northern Boulevard.

We have intrigued our listeners when we went swimming with sharks in the Bahamas (with thanks to Stuart Cove Divers) and Dolphins in Angilla.

On July 17, 2005, the New York Times featured the show in the Sunday Business Section. Steadily, the show has grown in popularity and has featured diverse guests such as:

- Tim Russert of NBC's Meet the Press
- New York City Mayor Ed Koch
- Apple computer co-founder Steve Wozniack

Thank you for listening and for all those great show ideas. We will see you on the radio! We welcome email at tcbradiowcwp@yahoo.com
